MaleMaxx by GenMax is a supplemental feed product that typically increases the number of male offspring in relation to number of females born to dams when fed prior to, during, and after breeding
MaleMaxx is designed as a supplement to replace part of the female’s diet, not to add to it. So, if you feed your females 3 pounds of feed per head per day, you would simply replace 0.5 pounds of their regular ration with MaleMaxx so they are still eating 3 pounds of total diet per day.
The MaleMaxx supplement is based on University research and has been tested on one of the owner’s deer farm for 6 years with an average sex ratio of 69%:31% over the last 6 years. In tests across the country last year, there were a number of farms/ranches that were within those parameters
We recommend feeding MaleMaxx for 28–30 days before breeding and 28–30 days after breeding to ensure that those females that do not conceive on the first attempt are still on the product for the backup sire
It is important that they consume the 0.5 pounds of MaleMaxx per day. Some people top dress and some do a total mixed ration or side dress. It does not matter as long as they consume the recommended amount for the recommended number of days
With Deer, if we can change the ratio from 50:50 even a small amount (say 55:45), a producer with 100 fawns will have an extra 5 bucks to sell per year. If bucks are worth $4,000 dollars each, that’s $20,000 of added income. An increase to 60:40 yields 10 extra bucks for a return of $40,000 and if you reach our goal of 70:30, that’s 20 extra bucks for a whopping return of $80,000.
Return on Investment can be well over 20:1
Imagine having 70% of your animals being bucks, rams or bulls for your ranch or farm. Many properties are “plagued” by too many females affecting the male:female ratio. Conservation departments are trying to manage too many females on the landscape affecting crops, auto insurance, property damage, and in some cases spreading disease. If we can affect the ratio by feeding MaleMaxx, it may benefit all aspects of the hunting and preserve industry
